Liquid Cooling by Syes: the evolution continues
Liquid Cooled TV transmitters (Supreme line) introduce innovative solutions on a proven base, in an excellent synthesis for signal quality, operation costs and reliability.
The integrated coolant circulation system features redundant pumps that can be hosted also in the same TX cabinet, with a substantial simplification of the installation complexity. Coolant flow and fan speed are adaptively managed according to the actual needs, at the advantage of energy consumption, noise level and parts wear.
RF amplifiers, type V75+, are based on 42V technology, designed and manufactured with special care for heat transfer optimization. High RF power level are achieved in compact size (up to 8kWrms per cabinet) and total reliability. This opens to solutions like "multiple" systems, for multichannel services and 1+1 or n+1 redundancy. For instance, a single cabinet can host two TX, 3kWrms (digital) each.
Footprint optimization has involved also cabinet depth, with a cut of about 30%, while safeguarding accessibility and therefore maintainability. The inner structure, stainless steel, features "ho spill" hydraulic connections and specific design solutions preventing any risk of accidental leakage. The coolant is non-toxic and can be easily disposed of.
Among outfits, the multi-standard modulation platform PCM, able to change mode in a click. SyES transmitters can therefore start now, for instance in DVB-T or analog, to switch to DVB-T2 or other standard in a subsequent time, without any hardware/software upgrade or manual set-up operation. The set of functionalities includes also dual ASI input with hitless switch and pre-correction (also adaptive), to ensure signal quality in any situation.
Finally, maximum freedom also in equipment management. Direct interaction is possible through the wide front-panel display. As an alternative, the user can locally or remotely connect to the equipment, via web or SNMP, and access to the complete Graphical Interface.
