SyES power to Rai digital TV

SyES keeps supplying technology to RaiWay for the digitalization of the Italian public TV networks.raiway_logo Issued the order for the high power stations of Puglia region.

 

 DMT-SyES involvement in Rai digital plans began at the beginning of the story, with the first DVB-T networks started in simulcast in 2003. Already then, further to quality and reliability, key issues were promptness and flexibility in responding to the needs evidenced by the Digital TV assessment and testing process. Now, impact and size of the effort have exponentially grown, as national - public service networks are dealt with.

The technology made available by SyES to RaiWay has been continuously refined, in accordance with the evolution in needs and standardpuglia_coverages. The issues are multimode digital/analog operation and SFN networks, of course, but also compatibility with new developments (DVB-T2, why not...) and, last but not least, energy efficiency.

Products by SyES prove to be reliable, efficient and versatile, easy to install and to use: the ideal option to attain the project goals and to support the growth of the Iraqi networks.

The new task assigned by RaiWay to SyES regards the equipment for the digitalization of Puglia region, with the Martina Franca and Monte Caccia stations, plus others to complete the coverage of the area.

Four DVB-T muxes, UHF and VHF bands, with a fifth channel for DVB-T2 trials. TX with output power up to 5kWrms. Active reserve and 1+1 system configurations.

SyES will provide liquid and air cooled transmitters, all of them equipped with the multistandard exciter PCM, one of the technological feathers in its cap.syes pcm

In the frame of the activity, SyES will cover also the station engineering for equipment installation and will support RaiWay personnel in drawing up a detailed activation plan.
